Alexandra Brighton is living a lie. 2DA26658-gunslingers_vowFearing for her life, her father sent her to live in Boston. Dissatisfied with her role as a proper lady, Alexandra yearned to return to her previous lifestyle in Montana. Newly engaged, she cannot commit to marriage without making peace with her past.

Malcolm Kincaid has done quite nicely working alone. For years he’s been hell-bent on finding his brother’s murderer. The last thing he needed was to get saddled with a prissy city woman. After reluctantly agreeing to assist Alexandra on her journey home, Malcolm discovers he may have been wrong about the beauty.

 My thoughts:

In my opinion, THE GUNSLINGER’S VOW, is a must read for anyone who enjoys bad-ass heroines. Alexandra Brighton is a woman I’d like to meet. Determined and intelligent, she’s not afraid to get dirty and Malcolm Kincaid is the epitome of the strong silent type.

I will admit, that I found the middle of this book to drag a bit. However, author, Amy Sandas rectified that during the last quarter of the book. I could hardly put it down, it was so hot. Full of passion and drama, I couldn’t help but fall in love with this rough and tough couple.

Happy Reading!

Romance: Historical Romance

General Mark Grimaldi has dedicated his entire life to his military career. On the cusp of receiving a huge promotion, he is forced to reveal that he’s been secretly married for ten-years to Nicole Huntington.

Nicole Huntington Grimaldi has resigned herself to a solidary life in France. Beautiful and independent, she does dabble in a bit of spying here and there. When Mark approaches her about helping him gain his promotion, she offers him an unbelievable ultimatum.

My Thoughts:

Duke-Like-No-Other-e1507074308695Valerie Bowman offered readers some interesting twists in A Duke Like No Other. The second chance romance is bound to make your heart flutter. The sexual tension is hot and the conflict is relatable.

My Thoughts:

6889572You simply cannot go wrong with a book written by the amazingly talented Kat Martin. The second novel in The Bride Trilogy, Reese’s Bride, is richly layered in emotion. Both Reese and Elizabeth suffered greatly from a single night of passion. Yet, they’ve remained deeply in love. Reunited as adults, they each battle their own internal conflicts over their pasts.

Happy Reading!
