Novel Review…A Love to Remember written by Bronwen Evans
It is my pleasure to recommend A LOVE TO REMEMBER,book seven in the Disgraced Lords series written by the very talented Bronwen Evans. I jumped at the chance to receive an advanced copy of this novel as I find Ms. Evans writing voice to be rich with emotion. She writes historical romances that blend sexually charged tension with tender internal conflicts in a manner that keeps me glued to the story from beginning to end. Happy Reading!
Rose Deverill has been enamored with her best-friends brother, Philip, the Earl of Cumberland since she was a teenager. Married at eighteen, she was left the wealthy widow of the Duke of Roxborough after the birth of her son, Drake. No longer in need of a man to control her finances, Rose has vowed that she’ll never marry again gaining her an infamous reputation as the “Wicked Widow” due to her numerous affairs. At the time of her declaration, she’d had no idea she’d fall in love with Philip.
Philip Flagstaff had been thrust into authority as the Earl of Cumberland after his brother, Robert’s, death at Waterloo. Born the second son, Philip refused to marry or have children. Why should he have a lifetime of marital bliss when he was responsible for his brother’s death? Robert deserved a lifetime of happiness, not him. Denying his love for Rose would have to be his repentance.
